Closing of the Bones Ceremony

$444.00

꩜ The Closing Ceremony ꩜

Birth is an expansive experience, in every dimension of our being. To embark on a powerful cycle of birth and rebirth can involve the release of held memories, beliefs, and traumas. Sometimes birth experiences are interfered with, disrupting the natural closing of this cycle. This can leave women feeling lost, vulnerable, and even traumatised.

The closing ceremony has been practiced globally for thousands of years, bringing deep healing to the physical, spiritual, and emotional body of the mother.

A full session will be around 5 hours long.

Minimum of 6 weeks post birth.

The journey begins with a gentle full-body oil massage - Abhyanga - allowing you to soften and relax, setting the stage for the profound healing to come.

Then, an herbal steam bath nurtures and warms your body, creating a safe and dark space for you to release anything that may arise in this process.

Lastly, a grounding and traditional sequence is offered using special handwoven rebozos. Wrapping you in love and support, helping you complete your transformation from maiden to mother and beyond. This beautiful ritual utilizes loving touch, comforting warmth, and a safe space to hold your journey.

The ceremony is held in your own home where you can rest and be in your sacred home space after the session. The ceremony is not only a physical and emotional support for the mother but also a way to honor her transition into motherhood and acknowledge the profound changes she has undergone during pregnancy, birth, and motherhood.

The intention is to provide a sense of closure to the birth experience while calling the spirit of the mother back to her body. The ceremony provides a supportive environment where you can let go of anything weighing you down and reconnect with your inner strength.

This ceremony may begin at a minimum of 6 weeks post-birth and can be offered at any time in a woman's life, no matter the birth outcome.

The Closing Ceremony is a deep recognition and passageway for the transformations that took place for the mother after every birth.
