AyurMama School of Ayurvedic Postpartum Care
Become a confident Ayurvedic Postpartum Doula and begin working with mothers within weeks
Learn the art and skill of deeply nourishing postpartum mothers through Ayurvedic wisdom, hands-on care, and a structured 42-day postpartum framework, rooted in devotion, guided in real life.
Begin your initiationÂ
In a time, full of artifical impact and human disconnect - we know one thing for certain:
mothers will always give BIRTH to raw, precious life.Â
Â
Postpartum is a portal.
You see mothers differently now.
Maybe it's the woman unraveling in the grocery store. Maybe it's the friend sending a voice note at 1 a.m., whispering how much harder motherhood feels than she ever imagined. Maybe it's your own story.
Whatever brought you here, something inside you knows:
There is more we can do for mothers.
Not to just hold her baby for an hour.Â
Not another "let me know if you need anything!" text. Â
But to truly care for her, body, mind & spirit.
To nourish her body.
To regulate her nervous system.
To prepare healing food.
To create a home that feels safe enough for her to soften, recover, and become.
You know motherhood was not meant to be an undernourished, isolated, and distressing experience.Â
And yet…
Around 1 in 5 mothers are impacted with mental health conditionsÂ
So where do we begin… if we actually want to change that?
What do we offer her that doesn’t just “help,”
but alters the entire trajectory of her healing,Â
something that could prevent years of silent suffering? We don't  admire the postpartum caregivers on the side.Â
This isn’t work to sit on the sidelines with.
Observing. Saving. Waiting until you feel “ready.”
Because the truth is—
mothers don’t need more spectators.
They need support.
Now.
Right now, you might be feeling:
-
Called to birthwork or postpartum care… but not clear on where to start. Â
-
Stuck in learning mode — courses, books, Instagram — but no real-world experience, with real-life mothers
-
Afraid of “doing it wrong” or not being good enough to support a mother
(It's already in your bones, babe)
-
Wondering if you’re even allowed to do this work because you’re not a mother yourself — when in truth, mothers deeply NEED your care, presence, and support
-
Unsure how to find clients, talk about your work, or get paid for itÂ
-
Believing you can’t do this work while raising your own children — when in reality, this path can be shaped to support both your family and your work
(we're paving the new world here)
Â
And underneath all of that…
there’s a deeper frustration
You can feel how much this work matters, the need for it is all around us.Â
You can feel that you would be good at it. Of course you would.
But you don’t have a clear path to begin actually implementing it.Â
so you keep waiting.
Waiting to feel ready.
Waiting for more time.
Waiting for the “right” season of life.
And in the meantime… You stay in learning mode instead of living the work that you say you want to do. You keep putting this calling into the “one day” category
And that hesitation slowly costs you:
- Opportunities to support mothers who need care right now
- Time spent in uncertainty instead of gaining real experience
- A growing distance from the work you know you’re meant for
- And the income, flexibility, and fulfillment this path could already be creating in your lifeÂ
🌹 Imagine this instead…
Â
You wake up knowing exactly what you’re doingÂ
not guessing, not piecing things together... but grounded in your role as a postpartum caregiver
You’re no longer wondering if you’re “ready.”
You are doing the work.
You have:
- A clear structure for supporting mothers after birth
- The confidence to walk into a home and lead a postpartum session
- The knowledge of what to cook, how to nourish, how to care
- The ability to speak about your work without second-guessing
- Your first paying client — or more
You’re booked months ahead, well-paid for your sacred care, and every family you serve calls you a blessing.
You feel grounded & resourced, helping women heal while your own abundance flows with ease.

Client Love
"What she teaches is truly timeless and deeply nourishing for women and their babies. "
"I’ve been a birth & postpartum doula since 2017 and always felt something was missing in mainstream postpartum doula care, until I discovered the realms of Ayurvedic postpartum care through Coco. After studying within her Ayurvedic postpartum care training, I realized this knowledge was that missing piece I could sense had been lost in how women are cared for in the early postpartum phases. This is easily one of my favorite trainings I’ve invested in to deepen my practice as a doula and I highly recommend it for any birth worker who wants to bring the sacredness back into their birth work."

Client Love
"I loved her interweaving of practical knowledge and the sacred beliefs of Ayurveda. "
"Everything she shared, on how to hold and nourish the mother after birth is also relevant to supporting your own well being. Her passion for this service of love is palpable. Her dedication to honoring her own path of continued learning is honorable. "

Meet Coco Genevieve
Founder of AyurMama and Ayurvedic Postpartum Care Specialist
I’ve supported hundreds of families both in-home and online, guiding women through their first six weeks postpartum with nutrition, traditional care practices, and loving presence.
My own path has been shaped by on-going study, and trainings with students of renowned teacher Ysha Oakes and mentorship from over six Ayurvedic physicians and midwives. I blend classical Ayurvedic wisdom with deeply practical, real-world care: nourishing meals to rebuild tissues, warm oils to soothe the nervous system, and gentle rituals that honor a mother’s own rebirth.
My mission is simple: to make ancient postpartum medicine remembered to all, and to honor the roots in which they come.Â
Welcome to the sacred journey of the Ayurvedic Doula.
honoring ayurvedic tradition
The AyurMama School Honors Ancient, Sacred Traditions
The sacred postpartum care we practice comes from teachers and communities in India who have preserved these practices for generations. This program aims to give back to this sacred heritage.Â
50% scholarships are offered to students of Indian heritage. 10% of all scholarship tuition is directed toward supporting postpartum education and care for women in India.
Carry the confidence, skills, and sacred tools to design postpartum care plans that are so deeply nourishing they awaken the body’s innate healing wisdom and honor the mother as divine.
Byt the end of your time in the school, you’ll know how to weave Ayurvedic postpartum principles into your work, home, and daily rhythm — so you’re not only supporting mothers in their sacred window, but thriving in your own feminine leadership, health, and prosperity.

Yes, partial scholarships. This work is rooted in the wisdom traditions of India & South Asia, and it’s important to me that it remains accessible to the communities from which it comes. I offer tuition discounts to students of South Asian heritage and to those living in South Asia.
If this applies to you, please reach out to me directly at [email protected] with “Scholarship Request” in the subject line. I’ll be happy to share details.

Yes. Many students study while pregnant or in their own postpartum season, and often find the content deeply supportive for their personal journey. You can go at your own pace, revisit lessons anytime, and integrate what you learn into your own healing. I built my whole postpartum business during the first year of motherhood.
